I know.....I just had to walk away on several occasions making some feeble excuse about tents or ammo or something. It's all just really inane too, and always with a reference back to when he was Andy McNab or something.

Maybe I ought to talk in great detail about my days working filling out forms and administering funding applications five years ago......

Funny isn't it, that the two people who kicked up the most stink about CiA not making compulsory donations to charity (bigray72 and harborneblue) still haven't chosen to sponsor Che and me.......

Her's something that's been bothering me......

At In The Pocket Scaleyback was going on (and on and on) about how he'd had the bailiffs around and that this year he was really struggling with a family and little construction work coming in (he's a joiner) and that he was having to prioritise between paying heating bills or buying food.....

Yet....YET....there he was in at an airsoft game that cost £30, having driven down from Yorkshire, or some-such northern vicinity, and was in full Airborne kit etc, etc.

Gets on my tits that sort of nonsense does....

/RANT OVER

That's how they are in Sheffield, a breed apart! (I bet not a penny savings either!)
I loved how he decried the immigrants taking all the construction jobs while at the same time he was turning work down 'cos it was beneath him/not worth getting out of bed! No wonder the Poles find it easy to earn a living!

Josh on Carentan:

Great news, Dave Manning from Skirmish has agreed to take the role of the Allied OC 'Col Manning', he's also seeing if he can get a few more vehicals for the allies to use as there HQ is some distance from the town and first HQ's.

Good luck with that. He's an awful leader. I can't believe how bad the Allies were under his command at In The Pocket!

I thought that said Cpt Mainwaring on first glance - may as well be!
Hope he won't be disappointed with the takings at the shop.

It was Josh's mortar at the Pocket BTW, so they do have a working arrangement anyway.

Hey Josh
Might be an idea to post up a booked player list so people can see they're confirmed.
HS

Naughty Stephen! Let's see how long it takes for that to be removed

Somewhat appauled Richard Underwood is going to Carentan. a) he won't do any business b) he'll get the wrong idea of what WW2 airsoft is (should be)
Looks like SoF will be there too

I hope Josh hasn't been bullshitting them about the number of players/customers...

;) I aim to please.....

Thing is, I've done it in a way that he'll find difficult to delete. This is about confirming people's places, not accounting for numbers..........yer 'onour.

The '300rnds' thread has got very tiresome - crazy, complicated and impracticable suggestions! Meh, I'm not adding any more to the posting - let 'em get on with it!

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress

They've got their LARP heads on again.

How about we attach 100 BBs to a sprite, or goblin, which will be required to transport the said munitions through the mines of Thornack and across the Mindril River where they will be attacked by the Triple-Headed Klarcon of Thwarp. At this point reenactors will have the option to play their Helag cards which will make them immune to attack from the Klarcon and his minions, the Pindons, so he will be able to retrieve the BBs to fire at the emeny. However, if the enemy invoke the Forces of Jincoin they will be able to summon the Gragnod who can smite all goblins within a 200 metre perimeter and interrupt supply lines.

PS: Have you notice how Gadge has started to call his planned games, 'Reenactment Skirmishes?
